Tag Robot

Never lift it.Never carry it.

Tag carries a whole grocery order in a locked, covered bay. It sees the street like a car does, climbs your stairs, and brings deliveries from the lobby to your door.

Sees

One pane of glass. Every direction.

Behind the flush smoked glass: solid-state lidar and a stereo camera pair. Four more cameras sit in the corners. Nothing sticks out to snag or break.

Built

Machined, not moulded.

CNC aluminium legs with coil-over shocks. Cast polyurethane wheels on sealed, machined hubs: quiet indoors, sure-footed outside, and they never go flat.

Carries

A whole order, under one lid.

A deep, felt-lined bay that locks. A case of water, a week of groceries and the detergent all go in at once.

The view from Tag's camera on a city pavement: a woman with shopping bags ahead, a man with a pram, a dog, a fallen e-scooter, a kerb and steps.
Vision

It sees the street the way you do.

Every person, pet, kerb and obstacle, measured many times a second. It plans a path around them and keeps you in sight. All of it is processed on board.

Inside: 71 × 35 × 30 cm, felt-lined and lit. The floor weighs every load and tells you if something won't be safe.

Side view in a kitchen: Tag risen on its two-joint legs so its open bay is level with the counter; a woman in her seventies stands straight at its end and lifts out a bag of oranges without bending.
Rise

It comes up to you.

Tag lifts its bay to the height you set, so you take things out standing straight. Set it once in the app, or hold the lid grip and lift: it rises with your hand and stops when you let go.

It only rises standing still on level floor. It checks the space above the lid first, and lowers to walking height before it moves.

In your building

Lobby to door. Nobody carries it up.

A small fleet lives at the lobby dock. Couriers drop the order in and leave. Tag rides the lift and waits at your door.

Tag waits against the back wall of a lift beside a resident.
It rides the lift.It calls it, and takes the back wall.
It waits at your door. The lid opens only for you, at hand height.

And everywhere else

Out on the trail, it follows your line.

Roots, rocks and dust. The load stays level.

At your pace

Your hands stay on your rims.

Tag follows a wheelchair the way it follows a walker: a steady metre behind, matching every push, waiting when you stop. Your shopping rides in the bay, not on your lap.

One robot

Your stairs. Your car. Your child. Your move.

An older man climbs a stone staircase, hand on the railing; Tag follows two steps behind with the lid closed, its body level.

Five floors, no lift.

It follows two steps behind, body level, every wheel on a tread. The bread arrives upright.

A toddler sits harnessed in the Nest seat sunk into Tag's body while his father walks behind holding the handle and a coffee.

Your child, in the Nest.

It kneels to load, holds 4 km/h, and never takes stairs with a child aboard.

Tag steps into an SUV boot onto a protective mat while its owner holds her keys.

Into the car, without a scratch.

It maps the boot first. Wheels touch only the mat.

Tag carries strapped boxes up the front steps of a brick building on moving day.

Moving day, done in trips.

Up to 60 kg each way, as many times as it takes.

At rest

When it's done, it goes to sleep.

After every job Tag drives back to its dock by the door, kneels onto the charging plate and goes quiet. Its cameras, microphones and light switch off. A small dot on the dock shows it charging.

It wakes when you call it in the app, touch the lid, or come home with your key. Below 15 % it heads back on its own.

At night in a quiet hallway, Tag sits kneeling on its slim charcoal charging plate by the front door, lid closed, light almost off, a small white dot glowing on the dock.
The app

Everything, from your pocket.

Set it up in about ten minutes. Then call it, raise it, send it home, and watch a delivery come up from the lobby.

  1. Scan the code under the lid.Your phone pairs over Bluetooth and puts Tag on your Wi-Fi.
  2. Tell it your height. It sets the lid for you, and for everyone you add.
  3. Walk it once round your home.It learns the rooms, the doors and where its dock lives.
  4. Add your household. Each person gets a key, their own lid height and their own permissions.
No phone in your hand? It still works.
  • Hold the handle: it pushes like a light cart.
  • Tap the rim twice: it follows you.
  • Lift the lid grip: it rises with your hand.
  • Say "Tag, come here" or "Tag, rest".
